Potomac Pony Club is one of 9 clubs in the Capital Region
of United States Pony Clubs
(USPC). Our club
has about 30 members who live in Montgomery County or
Frederick County, Maryland, including the towns of
Adamstown, Boyds, Barnesville, Clarksburg, Comus,
Dickerson, Darnestown, Germantown, Gaithersburg,
Poolesville and Potomac.
Parents meet monthly
to plan and organize club activities. Pony club members get
together in many ways including lessons, unmounted
meetings, rallies, trail rides, and rides with the Potomac
Junior Hunt. At unmounted meetings, members come together
as a club to attend area events of interest, or to learn
about an aspect of horse management, such as feeding,
bandaging or veterinary care. The frequency of unmounted
meetings varies from weekly (January and February), as
members prepare for the Quiz Rally, to monthly as the needs
of the members and club activities dictate.

June 26th - 28th, Capital Region Show Jumping Rally hosted by Tally Ho Pony Club @ Loch Moy (The Qualifying rally to be held on 26th - 27th and the non-qualifying rally to be held on the 27th - 28th)
