  • Approve August minutes Done
  • Rallies:  NQ; polox; dressage; NQ SJ NQ-2 teams, 9 riders, 2 full teams, all paperwork in-6:30am; Polox-10/14, couple clubs sending teams, it’s a go; Dressage Rally-10/21,paperwork due 9/26, maybe no equitation-in Dillsburg, if commit to a level can’t change; NQSJ-10/28 in PA; Dressage Day-9/22, only 4, need more, change date? 9/29, find instructor $30 per rider, 4-6 better numbers, $250/day is normal, do half day. Who ask first? Peggy/Evelyn

 

  • Family Fall Horse Show Not enough people to run, go for spring show. Trail class out means need more people, need 30 people to run, maybe revisit a combined? Kids want trail class out in field. Meeting at field to work: Guided trail ride? Or our kids play games while we do field work? they can get service hours. Trailride and field work with bbque at end. 7 miles of trails out there. Enlist friends to help with shows.

 

  • Treasurer’s Report How much to run a rally? Region pays for rallies, net zero for us. Ribbons are leftover. Report distributed.
    • Southern States $483

 

  • Ratings Emails out-Molly, Christina, Heather, Gabrielle. D2-D3. Raquel maybe C1-do C1 in spring. Th/Fr 6:30 for Yvette unmouted.  2 hours unmounted 1 mounted

 

  • Lessons Dressage-okay lessons. Do dressage until rally, maybe some stay for quadrille. Great and Small on Sundays afternoon or Sat. afternoon. Dee D emailing-willing-might go to Frederick, we like her.use her for xcountry, flat, jumping. Games look for other instructors-Leila Hannigan? Start winter series end of October. Games-need rules and instruction, started in March 15th, start earlier next year.

    • Clinics 10/12-13 Terry Impson, a lot doing, one more slot, an upper level instructor. Polox clinic on calendar. Matt Flynn???
 
  • Sponsors Meeting-10/10/07 At Diana’s house. Must attend. 21 members, losing 7 maybe.

    • new members?some from Kevin Bowie’s maybe. Call from a lady from DC, referred her to Seneca. Go to barns ie: Calleva, R&F, handout fliers. NFF attracts many potential members

     

  • Field maintenance Need FM day 9/28-29. get some shelving-costco, laurel getting-get 2. Fix xcountry, fencing,mowing, need a list. Need to maybe service the lawn mower.
    • APA at fieldSign hold harmless have anybody play at field and make money contributions to club. Make a booking style. Mix lessons of APA with pony club at field. Hold biweekly practices need to generate kids make sure okay with Mike Rubin.
 
  • Monthly Meetings-been too busy. Have ideas. Yvette do early quiz meetings for monthly meetings, start earlier, Friday night. Yvette $25/hr.
 
  • Banquet-when/whereDiana-first check for church. Do chicken and donated sides. Plaques with pictures requested.

 

Open Day for horse rescue 9/29 Pat Douglas’ farm 9-4 Good way to drum up members. Display our items, older kids. Have a adult too.
