PPC Parents Meeting

  • Approve last month’s minutes- Approved
  • Lessons: Dressage/Quadrille and others:  Dressage-Tenacity Farm, Heather Fay Cheryl has “vetted” her. First lesson last Friday of month. Where does Vera go? Vera willing to teach all disciplines. Great/ Small bad ring. Maybe do a Spectrum lesson, flatwork/jumping combo. Find indoor-LOOK! Dee again, everybody likes her. Quadrille anyone? Heather do jumping if we like her? Knowledge sessions, everybody want to do? Preps and Quiz sessions. Yvette coming picking topics. She’ll give us dates and we’ll figure them out. Bead making a meeting, pick a date, $15/kid.

  • Field Maintenance Days:  This Friday/Saturday 10:00: Jumps away in shed, shelves help, more room. Poles stay out on pallet. Kits going to Jones. Tarps needed, rope them down. Take down dressage ring, put in tub. Pull out t-posts, Dee has puller-husband do! Remember to clean portajohn, ask to have removed.   What to do with tposts, put them over poles between pitch/parking? Dee buy for rescue, we’ll donate them instead.  Families that have not contributed, Dee writing letter to.

  • Club Embroidery: Polo shirt colors: vote on colors: Navy or red?? No to Navy, red for fun. Royal and white sticking for now. But royal hard to find. Ask Averill or Donna Bottner where she does shirts. Lands End?  Maybe change embroiderer. Saddle pad colors: black or white, no ribbing.

  • Committees:  Lessons Coordinator-Marissa! Quiz Coordinator.  Funday and D Camp-maybe do at Wilson College. Dee ask around for games coach, with Shenandoah. Insure Tenacity, Brenda will, show Laura how to do.

  • Budget-credits listing for everybody, Brenda figured everybody’s out.  Maybe overpaid Vera for January?

Banquet:  January 4th, same place, same time-6:00.  Give Diana address for invitees. Ask Marie for addresses. Plaques-Kathleen, we voted for plaques with pictures.  Sides/Salads we bring depending on last name, club pay for paper and drinks, buy Costco cake, chicken Julie get. Members are free. Silent or live auction? Both. Too many buckets of horse stuff.
